
Lorien Health Services, a family-owned nursing home company and industry innovator, has named Andy Xie its Chief Information Officer.
In this new role, Xie will provide leadership around the development of an agile, robust, innovative, and secure technology environment throughout Lorien.
“Throughout this past year, Andy has been instrumental in steering Lorien through a number of high priority projects,” said Lorien Health Services CEO Lou Grimmel, Sr. “He has demonstrated exceptional leadership and growth, and we are grateful to have him guide us into the future.”
Last year, Xie joined Lorien as Managing Director of IT. Previously, he spent 15 years in technology leadership roles at healthcare, employee wellness, and nonprofit organizations.
Xie earned his Master of Science degree in Information Systems and a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC).
