Lucy Rutishauser is Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Sinclair Broadcast Group, Inc. She has been with the Company since 1998 and became the CFO in 2017 after having served as the Company’s Corporate Treasurer.
Prior to Sinclair, she worked in multiple industries including publishing, healthcare, retail, and manufacturing, spanning publicly-traded, privately-held, and a U.S. division of an international company. She is involved in transformation across multiple disciplines and is an Executive Sponsor for various steering committees. She has been recognized as the Daily Record’s ‘Power 30,’ Baltimore Sun’s ‘Top 25 Women to Watch,’ Cynopsis’ ‘Top Women in Media,’ Radio & TV Business Report’s ‘Best Finance Leaders,’ and Media Financial Management’s ‘People to Watch.’
Lucy graduated magna cum laude from Towson University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and Finance and received her M.B.A. from the University of Baltimore. She is a member of Media Financial Management, National Institute of Investor Relations and the Association of Finance Professionals.
As Sinclair’s first-ever Chief Marketing Officer, John Zeigler oversees the brand and performance marketing strategy for all Sinclair assets including its 185 broadcast stations, 21 Regional Sports Networks, including Bally Sports, and streaming platform Bally Sports+, Tennis Channel, Tennis Channel+, the company’s multicast networks Comet, CHARGE! and TBD, as well as the company’s digital streaming platforms NewsON and STIRR. In addition, Zeigler is responsible for Sinclair’s Promotions, Creative Services, Marketing and Communications departments.
Zeigler’s career spans two decades leading creative and marketing strategy for sports and news brands. Most recently, he was Vice President for the New York Yankees’ YES Network where he launched a data first marking strategy for the company and established an award-winning, in-house creative and marketing agency that oversaw on-air branding, digital marketing and strategic initiatives. Zeigler has also lead Marketing for Z Living Network, WGN America and Tribune Creative Group. In addition to his leadership roles, he has worked in marketing and creative departments for several U.S. local television broadcast markets. He began his career in media in the marketing department at KLRT in Little Rock, AR. Throughout his career, Zeigler has won 32 Emmy Awards and 35 PROMAX Marketing Awards.
