Michael brings an extensive professional and volunteer background in the leadership of nonprofit organizations for more than twenty-five years. Throughout his career, Michael has refined, restructured, or developed programs, campaigns, staffs, committees, boards, and other important operations and procedures. He has overseen operations at the University of Florida, University of Maryland School of Medicine, Maryland Center for the Visual and Performing Arts, Salisbury University, American Diabetes Association, Archbishop Spalding High School, Susan G. Komen Maryland, and Capital Caring. Prior to his non-profit career, he worked in the investment industry for T. Rowe Price.
In addition to his more than 25 years of professional fundraising, Michael has served on National Kidney Foundation of Maryland’s Board and Executive Committee; Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation of Maryland and North Florida Boards; Association of Fundraising Professional North Florida Chapter’s Board and Treasurer; and Chaired the Corporate Sponsorship and Membership Committees of the Towson University Tiger Club. He has been a guest lecturer at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine immunology program, a mentor for the Johns Hopkins Comprehensive Transplant Center and Volunteer of the Year for 2000 for the National Kidney Foundation. He has held positions on national boards and committees for the Association of Healthcare Philanthropy and The Advisory Board, Philanthropy Leadership Council.
Michael is an avid fan of most sports, music, a foodie who enjoys cooking and grilling, spending time at the beach, and collecting sports art and memorabilia, He is the proud dad of Emily and Tyler. He is a graduate of Loyola Blakefield and Towson University.

David has chaired the Maryland Public Broadcasting Commission and the Maryland Higher Education Loan Corporation, served as President of both the Jewish National Fund and the Towson Business Association and was a member of the PNC Bank board.
