As the Executive Director, Tamara Arnold oversees all operations at Baltimore Corps and is responsible for strengthening our values and organizational culture while driving forward our Baltimore Corps’ mission and vision. She also maintains and supports a variety of dynamic relationships with Baltimore Corps’ our board of directors, staff, and company stakeholders. In addition to her deep knowledge of Baltimore Corps’ journey, she brings strengths in organizational leadership and strategy development.
Tamara began her time with Baltimore Corps in April 2017 as Fellowship Program Manager. In this role, she revamped the Baltimore Corps Fellowship program by introducing a more structured curriculum and ensuring equity was at the center of all partner relationships, resulting in a higher quality program and increased retention. She Tamara went on to serve as the Director of Programs from July 2019 to January 2022.
As Director of Programs, the department grew under her leadership in staff, programming, and services. She was an integral part of onboarding new programming and services for the Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship (SIE) team, with the additions of Artist Navigator, Entrepreneurship In Residence, and Moonshot. In January 2022, Tamara went on to serve as the Senior Director of Programs and Administration before being promoted to Chief of Staff in July 2022.
As Chief of Staff, she focused on refining Baltimore Corps’ process improvement skills and leading continued evolution as a network and a non-profit organization. In January 2023, Tamara was promoted to her current role as Executive Director.
In her six years with Baltimore Corps, Tamara has a well-earned reputation for consistently showing up for our staff members, the communities we serve, and Baltimore Corps’ supporting partners. She is fueled by creative possibilities and thought-partnership with others to create equitable landscapes, as well as her commitment to Baltimore City. Her dynamic and resourceful skills bring people together and reinforce their trust in Baltimore Corps’ values, vision, and mission.
As a former educator, Tamara’s energy is genuine and inclusive. She is a true servant leader and a thought partner to anyone she encounters. She has served the Maryland community, youth, and families as an advocate and teacher and coordinating various education-based programming. Throughout her career, she partnered with Teach for America, Urban Teachers, Playworks, and other non-profit organizations inside and outside of Maryland. Tamara has made an everlasting impact on Baltimore Corps.
As Executive Director, Tamara intends to focus on growing her skills as a visionary organizational leader, serving Baltimore, and working alongside the Baltimore Corps team to create a brighter and more ambitious future.

In 2001, he was tapped by the CEO of Comcast to employ his marketing expertise as President of the company’s regional sports network, Comcast SportsNet Mid-Atlantic. David is a Past President of the Board of Governors for the Center Club and is a former Chairman of the Board of Regents for the University System of Maryland, a position to which he was appointed by the Governor of Maryland. David has chaired the Maryland Public Broadcasting Commission and the Maryland Higher Education Loan Corporation, served as President of both the Jewish National Fund and the Towson Business Association and was a member of the PNC Bank board.
