Starting Sept. 13, candidates can begin their journey at the leading trade school for instructional design and online learning
IDOL courses, the leading trade school for instructional design and online learning, announces enrollment opens Monday, Sept. 13 for its September cohort of IDOL courses Academy. The eight-week Academy is a unique and interactive immersive training program for adult students without prior experience to accelerate their skills, knowledge and craft in corporate instructional design.
The IDOL courses Academy provides adult learners with high-valued skill sets and hands-on experience that make them competitive candidates in instructional design and online learning for leading corporations worldwide. This includes previous graduates landing instructional design jobs with top companies, such as Google, Amazon, General Motors, UBER, Cigna and PriceWaterhouseCooper. IDOL courses Academy programs have also been pre-approved by the Association for Talent Development Certification Institute for continuing education credits – signaling a top level of credibility.
When a new student enrolls, they begin the Academy’s interactive, virtual classes led by expert instructional designers. All course work can be completed from anywhere in the world and on a flexible schedule, perfect for students currently working other jobs or who would otherwise need to coordinate childcare. Throughout the course, students build their portfolio, have the ability to earn four levels of credentials, develop mentorships with industry professionals, receive job application support and participate in paid experience opportunities. If desired, students also have the opportunity to utilize the deep industry connections from the IDOL courses team through its staffing and recruitment services.
For optimum success in the program, applicants should:
- Be 18 years or older
- Be able to write standard English proficiently
- Possess working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google Suites and computers
- Be self-motivated and highly dedicated
