Riverfest Returns At Assembly Row With Live Music Powered By Puma & Fireworks Over The Mystic River

Assembly Row, Somerville’s most dynamic neighborhood, has announced plans for a return of the beloved annual Riverfest, a FREE event featuring fun, music and fireworks, to wrap up summer and launch forward into fall.

WHAT:  Riverfest is a family-friendly event with live local music powered by PUMA, free children’s activities, and the annual fireworks show over the Mystic River at sundown. This year, new offerings at Assembly Row such as Night Shift Brewing’s Owl’s Nest and PKL Boston’s pickleball and shuffleboard destination will showcase more fun options for everyone. Kids activities also include roving entertainers, games, prize giveaways and a chalk walk.  Lucky Strike is hosting games, activities and prizes, a custom photo opportunity and free glowsticks.
