Xerox Business Solutions Continues Support of Road to Responsibility’s Annual Virtual Making Lives Better Gala for Eighth Consecutive Year

Xerox Business Solutions to serve as Presenting Sponsor for September 23 event

Road to Responsibility (RTR), one of the region’s largest and most successful non-profit organizations, is excited to announce that Xerox Business Solutions will serve as the Presenting Sponsor for its 33rd annual “Making Lives Better” Gala, which will be held virtually on Thursday, September 23, beginning at 6:30 p.m.

This year marks the eighth year that Xerox Business Solutions will be supporting RTR and the gala at the Presenting Sponsor level.

The annual mission-driven event will once again be in the form of an enhanced virtual experience complete with a live band, a mixologist, upscale refreshments, raffle prizes, a mobile bidding auction and more.

Hosted by meteorologist Michael Page, the gala will kick off at 6:30 p.m. and run through 8 p.m. on September 23rd. Tiered ticket levels will offer custom packages delivered directly to front doors by Road to Responsibility staff, allowing attendees to enjoy the event from the comfort of their homes.

Xerox Business Solutions is one of New England’s largest and most respected consultancy firms specializing in workflow assessment and optimization and offers managed print services. This organization has also been a longtime supporter of Road to Responsibility; just last month, both Randy Baril, president, and Michael Doolan, vice president, ran the Falmouth Road Race in support of Road to Responsibility for the third consecutive year.

Tickets are available through September 14th and can be purchased by visiting https://roadtoresponsibility.ejoinme.org/2021. All registered attendees will receive a Zoom link via email on September 23rd.

“We are so grateful for the ongoing commitment and support of Xerox Business Solutions,” said Christopher White, Ed.D., CEO of Road to Responsibility.  “They are an incredibly generous corporate partner, and because of them we are able to both sustain and expand the services we provide our individuals.  We are very appreciative of their continued sponsorship of our gala, and of their dedication to our cause.”

About Road to Responsibility, Inc.

Celebrating over 30 years of making lives better, Road to Responsibility, Inc. (RTR) was established in 1988 with the overarching belief that individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities deserve to have full, rich, and rewarding lives in the community, and therefore works to provide the means, the opportunity, and the support necessary to allow citizens with disabilities to take their place as productive members of the community.  RTR offers residential, work/employment, day habilitation and other day supports to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.  RTR supports individuals with very diverse needs, including those with significant challenges who would otherwise go unserved if not for RTR.  It succeeds where other organizations often fail, through the use of an integrated clinical behavioral approach.  This model has proven successful and yielded positive results for the organization and the individuals served.

Road to Responsibility offers services to almost all the towns and communities throughout the South Shore and South Coast of Massachusetts, operates 49 residences as well as co-operative and supportive living apartments, and manages nine day-service locations that focus on education, employment, and community enrichment.  Road to Responsibility’s main office is located at 1831 Ocean Street, Marshfield, MA.  For more information, please visit www.roadtoresponsibility.org.
