SAN FRANCISCO–(BUSINESS WIRE)–ACORE Capital, one of the largest credit managers focused on commercial real estate lending, is pleased to announce that alternative investments and capital markets professional Jennifer Wildeman has joined the firm as Managing Director. In this role, Wildeman will work to grow and diversify ACORE’s investment management platform. She will report to Michael Romo, Senior Managing Director and Head of Capital Raising.
Wildeman brings to ACORE expertise in portfolio construction, business development and investor relations. She joins the firm from Aksia, a specialist alternative investment research and portfolio advisory firm, where she served as a Senior Portfolio Advisor. In this role, Wildeman was a trusted advisor to a wide range of institutional investors and responsible for sourcing and advising on private investment opportunities with a focus on private credit. Wildeman will leverage her vast investor network – which includes pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, endowments, foundations and healthcare organizations – to advance ACORE’s capital raising initiatives.

Prior to Aksia, Wildeman was a member of the Investment Research Group within PNC’s Asset Management Group with a focus on alternative investment products including hedge funds, private market partnerships, and funds of funds. She was active in all aspects of investment manager due diligence in the alternative investment arena and was instrumental in the build out of PNC’s single-strategy hedge fund and private markets platform. Before that, Wildeman worked with Gapstow Capital Partners, an alternative asset manager with funds investing in private equity funds, hedge funds, and privately structured deals in U.S. financial institutions.
