Jimmy Mitchell Promoted to Senior Director of Business Development for Skanska’s Georgia and South Carolina Regions

Skanska USA, one of the world’s leading construction and development firms, announces the promotion of Jimmy Mitchell to senior director of business development for the Georgia and South Carolina regions. In his new role, Mitchell will leverage his strong community and business relationships and lead strategic growth and development efforts.

Mitchell started at Skanska as an intern before joining the company as an estimating engineer in 2005. In 2011, Mitchell co-founded one of the fastest growing non-profits in Atlanta, the Lifecycle Building Center, an organization that reclaims discarded building materials for reuse and provides education in sustainable construction practices.

Mitchell has a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering Technology from Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, Georgia. In 2021, he was recognized as a Georgia Tech 40 Under 40.
