Tenzer Arrieta PLLC is pleased to announce that Karl Klein has been appointed Chair of The Florida Bar’s Mental Health & Wellness of Florida Attorneys committee for the 2021-22 term. Klein has been a member of the committee since 2019 and previously served as Vice Chair.
The Florida Bar’s Mental Health & Wellness of Florida Attorneys committee is responsible for developing initiatives and educational programs to destigmatize mental health illness and promote positive mental and physical wellness practices among attorneys.
“Mental health is an incredibly important issue in our field. Being a lawyer can be very rewarding but also difficult to navigate when it comes to balancing our work and personal lives,” said Klein. “I’m honored to join my peers on this committee in leading discussions and initiatives to address these issues in our industry.”
As a partner with Tenzer Arrieta, Klein focuses his practice on domestic and international Corporate and Real Estate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, financings, entity formation, and general corporate matters.
Additionally, Klein has considerable experience in the technology and hospitality industry, serving as a pro bono advisor to local, early-stage companies in technology, wellness and culinary sectors.
Outside the office, Klein was previously involved in the annual Vizcaya Halloween Sundowner fundraiser, where he served as Chair from 2005-2010. This event raised more than $600,000 for the preservation and protection of Vizcaya Museum and Gardens, a National Historical Landmark.
