Louise Phillips Forbes, a top producing agent at Brown Harris Stevens successfully closed more than $45,000,000 of Manhattan residential real estate in August and September. Louise exclusively represented the seller in six transactions, the buyer in four, and both parties in two transactions.
Among the period’s highlights is the $9,675,000 sale of Apartment 12A, part of the final inventory of 498 West End Avenue, a turn-of-the-20th-century building where Louise represented the Sponsor in the conversion and sale of units.
Louise also represented the buyer of 15 Union Square West, Penthouse 12, which closed for $12,250,000. The extraordinary duplex garnered intense interest and multiple offers.
“If you are looking for a unique property, there are simply more buyers than properties right now. To help my clients find success in this market, I am encouraging them to share their story and love of the property with the seller,” said Louise who is currently working with a number of buyers.
“Although it feels vulnerable, buyers should not hold back. The home was undoubtedly a place of wonderful memories for the seller, and they will appreciate knowing that the prospective purchaser holds it in the same regard,” she added.
For over three decades, Louise has been an industry leader in New York City’s residential real estate market. With career sales exceeding $4.5 billion, she is considered one of the city’s elite Power Brokers. Louise was named the Residential Agent of the Year by the Real Estate Board of New York in 2020 for her consistent achievements and leadership within the industry and is regularly acknowledged as the firm’s top listing broker and sales team. She has developed a significant following among developers, buyers, and sellers throughout Manhattan, proudly serving prominent New Yorkers.
Looking ahead, in addition to several new exclusive listings, Louise will be launching 393 West End Avenue in the fourth quarter.
