Berger Singerman, Florida’s business law firm, is pleased to announce that Evan D. Rosenberg has joined the firm as a partner and Shara Pipitone has joined as an associate. Both attorneys will serve clients with real estate related matters as members of the firm’s Business, Finance and Tax Team.

Evan D. Rosenberg joins the firm as a partner on the Real Estate practice group. He will be resident in the firm’s Miami office. Rosenberg represents commercial real estate investors, developers, tenants, and lenders in acquisition, sale, and lease transactions. He also focuses his practice on the negotiation, drafting, and structuring of purchase and sale agreements, commercial leases and subleases, joint venture agreements, guarantees and license agreements. He performs due diligence work on behalf of clients seeking to purchase or sell real estate and counsels clients in connection with commercial lease disputes, construction issues, mechanic’s liens and bonding procedures, and partnership disputes.
Rosenberg pursued his undergraduate education at the University of Florida where he received a B.A. in Political Science, cum laude. From there, Evan went on to St. John’s University School of Law where he earned a J.D. Prior to joining Berger Singerman, Rosenberg he worked at Becker & Poliakoff in Fort Lauderdale representing clients in commercial real estate transactions. Prior to working with the Becker firm, Evan practiced at Rosenberg & Estis, a real estate law firm in New York.
Shara Pipitone joins the firm as an associate on the Real Estate practice group. She will be resident in the firm’s Fort Lauderdale office. She focuses her practice on real estate private equity and debt platforms. Pipitone has represented lending institutions in commercial-backed securities and asset-based lending transactions and she regularly represents developers and borrowers in acquisitions, leasing and financing or refinancing for commercial and residential projects.
Pipitone earned a B.A., summa cum laude, from Tulane University, and a J.D., cum laude from the University of Florida Levin College of Law. Prior to joining Berger Singerman, Pipitone was associate legal counsel for Kayne Anderson Capital Advisors, LP. Prior to her work at Kayne Anderson, Shara practiced real estate law at Kasowitz Benson Torres LLP.
Rosenberg and Pipitone are the latest additions to join Berger Singerman and its growing real estate practice group. Last month, the firm added three new associates: Edward Baker, Samuel Gilot and William Diab, to its Dispute Resolution and Business, Finance & Tax Teams.
