DLA Piper is pleased to announce that San Francisco-based partner Lynn Cadwalader was one of only 10 lawyers to receive a 2021 Women in Real Estate Award in the “National” category from Connect Commercial Real Estate. The award honors women “with achievements and inspirational stories who have reached respected positions of leadership and play key mentorship roles for others in commercial real estate.”
According to the publication, Cadwalader is “a creative thinker adept at resolving complex legal and business issues, an innovator in the ever-changing landscape of hospitality, and a loyal advocate for her clients – the counselor you want by your side during good times and bad.” In addition, Connect CRE notes that she is “highly sought after” by developers and other clients looking to expand their businesses internationally and has a proven ability to “create and implement novel structures to address legal and business concerns outside of the US.”
In her practice, Cadwalader represents developers, investors and hotel operators acquiring, developing, structuring and operating hotels and mixed-use projects in the United States and internationally, including Latin America and the Caribbean. She is well recognized on both the developer and brand side of hospitality. Her practice also includes providing legal and business advice to foreign investors seeking to invest in hospitality and real estate assets in the US.
