Electric Motor Repair Company (EMR), a leading provider of service, parts, and installation to the commercial kitchen and industrial motor sectors, announced today that Rick Rush has been promoted to operations manager of the DCMV branch in Beltsville, MD. Rick brings several years of EMR leadership experience to this role, has excellent people and organizational skills and an extensive technical background. Since 2007, he has been proving his drive and dedication to EMR, working his way through the ranks. Rick began at EMR as a field technician, excelling to service manager and now in his current role running one of EMR’s largest + most dense service territories. DCMV branch covers DC proper, and portions of MD, VA, and WV, and consists of a team of approximately 30 technical and support staffers.
“I love working in an international area like D.C., that is a dynamic and ever-changing market,” said Rush.
Prior to joining EMR, Rick was a trained chef. Working over 20 years in restaurant operations, he brings a wealth of knowledge and understanding of customers’ needs from their service company. In his new position, Rick aims to build a deeper understanding between the hospitality and service industries, and how they intersect.
