Hunton Andrews Kurth Adds Daniel Martinez to its Tax Practice in Miami

Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP announced the addition of Daniel Martinez to its Tax practice.

Mr. Martinez focuses on an expansive range of tax issues relating to cross-border transactions, private and public investment funds, private and public M&A transactions, real estate transactions and financial restructuring.

He joins Hunton Andrews Kurth from Stroock & Stroock & Lavan LLP, where he practiced as an associate on its Corporate Tax team. With more than 14 years of experience as a tax attorney, he has represented US and non-US companies and high-net-worth individuals with respect to their US tax planning. Mr. Martinez is active with the Florida Bar and served as the chair of the Florida Bar Tax Certification Committee from 2020 to 2021.

Mr. Martinez holds a Master of Laws degree in tax law from New York University School of Law, a J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School, and an MBA and bachelor’s degree from the University of Louisville in Kentucky. He is admitted to practice law in Florida and New York.
