The Virginia law firm Gentry Locke is pleased to announce that Payroll/Benefits Manager Anita Mattox has been selected as one of Virginia Lawyers Weekly’s 2021 Unsung Legal Heroes.
The awards, now in their fifth year, recognize Virginia’s most talented and dedicated legal support professionals who have consistently gone above and beyond the call of duty, often behind the scenes.
“Anita is devoted to ensuring that each of us understands the benefits available to us and how to use those benefits. She also leads our annual holiday toy drive for the Rescue Mission and works quietly behind the scenes in many important ways,” said Gentry Locke Managing Partner Monica T. Monday. “Anita’s tireless efforts this year, as in years past, allow us to support our team internally, so they can focus on providing the best service to our clients.”
Mattox, who joined Gentry Locke in 2007, was the only “Hero” honoree in the human resources category.
