CHICAGO–(BUSINESS WIRE)–olive.com, the leader in payment services and online vehicle protection plans, announced that Keith Moore, a highly regarded Insurtech executive and entrepreneur, has joined the company as Executive Advisor to its Board of Directors and senior management team. In this role, Moore will advise on olive.com’s strategic initiatives, marketing plans and other key dimensions of the company’s continuing expansion.
“We are honored to have Keith on our team at this exciting time for olive.com,” said Rebecca Howard, CEO of olive.com. “His talent and experience will be invaluable as we continue to expand our product offerings and provide the best possible service for our customers. We look forward to working closely with Keith and learning from his unique expertise and industry track-record.”
Moore brings over two decades of digital product and marketing leadership in the Insurtech and Fintech industries. Some of his most notable digital transformation successes occurred in his role as CEO and Chairman of CoverHound, a globally recognized technology leader in both personal and commercial Property & Casualty insurance before its sale to Brown & Brown, Inc. (NYSE:BRO) and a previous role as General Manager at LendingTree (NYSE:TREE), where he led its Lending Exchange and the company’s successful diversification and launch of insurance, credit cards, and other new products as the leader of LendingTree’s short form and emerging business units.
In 2016, Moore founded CyberPolicy to bring cybersecurity and cyber insurance bundled options to the U.S., which was the first in the world to provide instant quotes and purchases of cyber liability insurance online. In the late 1990’s Moore also launched the very first address-only instant quotes to purchases for a California monoline homeowners insurance carrier, which he later scaled across multiple states.
Additionally, Moore has been consistently recognized as a “Top 50 Insurtech Influencer” by InsurTech News and in October 2021 was ranked in second place, just prior to this year’s annual InsurTech Connect conference. In 2017, he was recognized by Ernst and Young as a finalist for their Entrepreneur of The Year® Award in Silicon Valley and Northern California.
“I’ve been very impressed with Rebecca and the team at olive.com; what they’ve already achieved is a testament to their ability to recognize consumer demand in significantly underserved markets,” said Moore. “olive.com is a clear market leader in the space, and I look forward to this opportunity to help the company deliver its technology-driven risk management solutions and transparency to even more customers and branded partnerships.”
Moore serves on the board of Appalachian State University’s Brantley Risk and Insurance Center, which aims to strengthen the school’s Insurtech focused programs and the continued development of future risk management and insurance leaders. He has also served on the TransUnion Insurance Advisory Board since 2016 and advises other emerging Insurtech companies at various stages of growth.
