Bose Public Affairs Group LLC is pleased to announce Ali Bartlett and Patty Power have been promoted to principals at the government relations and strategic communications firm. Thomas Cook joins Bose Public Affairs Group as a principal.

Ali Bartlett assists clients in policy, regulatory compliance and licensing matters within the casino gaming and state lottery industries. She also has years of experience advocating on education issues at the state legislature on behalf of clients ranging from K-12 charter schools to adult charter high schools. Bartlett is adept in legislative lobbying, municipal law, government procurement and general government regulatory work and administrative law. She also serves as a partner in the Gaming Group at Bose McKinney & Evans LLP and is a member of International Masters of Gaming Law, a graduate of the Richard G. Lugar Excellence in Public Service Series and a graduate of the Indiana Leadership Forum. Bartlett is a graduate of Purdue University and the IU Robert H. McKinney School of Law.
Patty Power is a member of the federal relations team in the Washington, DC, office of Bose Public Affairs Group and of counsel to Bose McKinney & Evans. She represents corporations, local and tribal governments, and universities before Congress and the Administration, including the Departments of the Defense, Interior, Agriculture, Energy, Housing and Urban Development, and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), on a broad range of topics, with a focus on environmental, energy and natural resource issues. She works with her clients to create effective strategies designed to efficiently solve their problems and meet their goals. Power graduated from American University, Washington College of Law and Adelphi University.
Thomas Cook joined Bose McKinney & Evans in February 2021 as a partner in the Site Selection & Economic Incentives Group and now joins Bose Public Affairs Group as a principal, where he will assist clients with government relations and strategic communications needs. Cook assists clients with economic development opportunities in Indiana and the Midwest, site selection, financing options, workforce and development incentives, and public-private partnerships. He represents clients in a variety of industries, including technology, hospitality, agribusiness and sports. Prior to joining Bose McKinney & Evans, Cook served as chief deputy mayor for the city of Indianapolis. While working for the City, he helped negotiate more than $1 billion in public-private partnerships and mixed-use developments, including notable projects such as Bottleworks and the new Infosys corporate campus, along with efforts to redevelop the former GM Stamping Plant near downtown Indianapolis. He earned his bachelor’s degree in political science and communications and culture from Indiana University. He earned a law degree from the Indiana University Maurer School of Law.
