Lara Kruska and Celeena Pompeo Elevated to Partner
Selman Breitman LLP announced that its attorneys Lara M. Kruska and Celeena B. Pompeo have been elected partners and Michael B. Gelfound and Adam J. Houtz have been promoted to of counsel. All promotions are effective Jan. 1, 2022.

Kruska is a member of the firm’s General Liability, Toxic Tort/Environmental, and Products Liability practice groups in Los Angeles. She represents corporations/companies and individuals in pre-litigation claims, civil litigation, and complex litigation matters, including cases arising out of personal injury, wrongful death, negligence, strict liability, tortious conduct, premises liability, and contractor liability.
Kruska received her law degree from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles and her undergraduate degree from Pitzer College in Claremont, California.
Pompeo is a partner in Selman Breitman’s Orange County, California, and Phoenix, Arizona, offices and is a member of the firm’s General Liability, Toxic Tort/Environmental, and Trucking and Transportation practice groups. Pompeo represents, businesses including internation and national corporations as well as local companies , and individuals in the defense of personal injury suits, including cases arising out of catastrophic injury. She has experience in disputes that involve multi-party trucking and transportation cases and product liability.
Pompeo received her law degree (magna cum laude) from Whittier Law School in Costa Mesa, California, and her undergraduate degree from California State University at Fullerton.
Gelfound is a member of the firm’s Insurance, Commercial Litigation and Commercial Transactions practice groups in Los Angeles. He received his law degree (magna cum laude) fromSouthwestern Law School and his undergraduate degree from the University of California at Santa Barbara.
Houtz is a member of the firm’s General Liability, Toxic Tort/Environmental and Construction Law practice groups in Los Angeles. He received his law degree (magna cum laude) fromSouthwestern Law School and his undergraduate degree from California State University at Northridge.
