Leadership Howard County will hold its annual Big Event featuring guest speaker Amelia Rose Earhart, who will present her keynote speech “Navigating Thru Turbulent Times.” Earhart will share how to create a flight plan to navigate uncharted territory with courage, face fear with confidence and make adjustments to stay productive and successful.

In 2014, Earhart flew a single-engine aircraft 28,000 miles around the globe. She overcame technical, physical and emotional obstacles to complete the flight. Earhart’s aviation analogies speak to the power of self-identity, perseverance and triumphing over challenges.
Leadership Howard County’s Big Event brings together more than 400 leaders from business, government and nonprofit organizations in Howard County. Proceeds from the event support Leadership Howard County programs and scholarships.
General admission tickets cost $100 through March 6 and $75 for students and small nonprofits with 25 or less employees. Beginning March 7, all tickets cost $125.
