GCG Promotes Joan Kopinski to SVP, Benefits Consulting

Senior Executive Appointment Brings Additional Depth and Client Commitment to Firm

GCG Financial, an Alera Group Company and a full-service financial services firm, has promoted Joan Settineri Kopinski to Senior Vice President, Benefits Consulting. Her appointment is part of the firm’s ongoing efforts to accelerate growth and position the company for long-term success, while continuing to focus on delivering exceptional client experience.

With more than 22 years of employee benefits experience – including background in Human Resources  – Settineri Kopinski’s will continue to work alongside Senior Partner and and accredited Health Rosetta advisor Brian Uhlig to further enhance the firm’s focus on overall client experience. Settineri Kopinski will be responsible for building upon the the strategic planning and execution of Health and Welfare programs including vendor management, plan administration, merger-acquisition management, and employee communications. Her passion for employee education helps to ensure that the client’s programs are properly implemented, fully understood, and effectively communicated.

With four young children, Settineri Kopinski is a Treasurer for Boy Scouts Troop 32.

Earlier this year, David Levitz was named Managing Partner while Carla DeMello became the highest ranking woman at GCG Financial when she was promoted to President, Employee Benefits. GCG Financial also appointed Pauline Sobelman Senior Vice President, Benefits Consulting in September.
