Full-service media agency Modern Formula (MoFo) announced it has hired Min Kwak as its VP, head of Media, effective immediately.
Kwak has a diverse background that spans both the linear and digital disciplines, and he has a wide breadth of experience spanning media planning and buying through analytics and data management and utilization.
Kwak joined from OMG23 in Burbank where he held the title of strategy director on the agency’s ABC Entertainment account since August 2020. In that role, he led integrated media planning and analytics for all of ABC’s primetime shows and specials.
Before that, Kwak was integrated associate media director on the Lionsgate account at Publicis Groupe’s Starcom. There, he negotiated and managed digital upfront partnerships and stewarded Lionsgate’s 1P data practices. Kwak also led digital media campaigns for the films “La La Land,” “John Wick 2 and 3,” and “Blindspotting,” from conception through post-campaign analysis.
“Min is continuously pushing media boundaries to deliver excellence,” explained Jessica Gilhooley, managing director/partner. “He has a rare talent to see the balance between creativity and data and an uncanny ability to spot media trends before they become everyday vernacular.”
MoFo is a proud collaborator within the Conspiracy Theory network.
