Broward College Foundation Director of Corporate Partnerships Mary J. Monusky has joined the board of directors at ArtServe, the award-winning arts incubator in Fort Lauderdale.
“One of the primary cornerstones of what we do at ArtServe is education,” Monusky explained. “Our unique incubator helps artists learn how to build successful career skills in a supportive environment. We also help educate our community on the value of local artists as foundational elements of our thriving economy.”
A New York City native, Monusky credits her urban experience for her lifelong love of contemporary art and architecture. As an ArtServe board member, she will work to create broader access in our community to artistic support opportunities, including training, networking and project funding.
“Mary has been an asset to ArtServe working behind the scenes, so we are very fortunate to have her join our board,” ArtServe Executive Director Jason Hughes said. “She brings enthusiasm, passion and energy to everything she does.”
Monusky also owns Thrive Partners LLC, a management consulting firm specializing in strategic corporate engagement coaching. Previously she was a Director for American Express in NYC and London, and Vice President at SunTrust Bank Fort Lauderdale (now Truist), where she cultivated her B2B development experience and commitment to premiere relationship management.
Monusky has held board positions with other non-profit organizations including 211 of Palm Beach County, Dress for Success and Festival Management Group (FMG).
