Born in Lima, Peru, Mark Gheiler immigrated to Maryland as a middle schooler in 1986. His father, involved in residential construction, accepted a job here in Baltimore. Mark’s Latin American and Jewish culture intersect during the high holidays, where family is central to every gathering. Mark and his wife Eve celebrate with their three children and grandparents from both sides of the family.

Answer the quintessential Baltimore question – where did you go to school?
I attended Beth Tfiloh for middle school, McDonogh for high school, travelled to New England to attend Brandeis University for undergrad and returned to Baltimore to attend UB School of Law. I currently live in Pikesville with and my wife Eve and three teenage children, Tali, Ilan and Itai.
