Manhattan Skyline Management Corp. Inks Lease with Obligato in Sag Harbor

Fashion-forward Women’s Clothing and Accessory Brand Opens Second Storefront in the Hamptons

Manhattan Skyline Management Corp., one of New York City’s leading real estate organizations, is pleased to announce a new long-term lease with popular women’s clothing boutique Obligato in Sag Harbor. The shop, its second location in the Hamptons, will be located in the heart of the Village of Sag Harbor at 11B Washington Street and will echo the stylish and contemporary offerings of the original store on Main Street in East Hampton.  A third outpost is located in Knoxville, Tennessee.  Obligato Sag Harbor is expected to open by April 1.

Known for its wide spectrum of women’s clothing and accessories for all occasions, Obligato carries both independent designers and well-known brands. “The boutique has set fashion trends in the Hamptons for over three decades, and we are thrilled to be a part of Obligato’s continued expansion,” said Joshua Roth, Senior Vice President of Retail at Manhattan Skyline Management Corp. “The brand’s decision to open a new location in the Village of Sag Harbor is evidence of the strong demand for both their product offering and the area.”

Sag Harbor remains one of the most picturesque locations in the Hamptons, with its original historic architecture intact, its proximity to the Peconic Bay and beaches, yachts and a ferry to beautiful Shelter Island.  Neighboring shops, eateries and hospitality options include the famed American Hotel, Blooming Shells, Sunny, Sag Harbor Books, Buddha Berry Frozen Yogurt, Lulu Kitchen and Bar, Henry Lehr, LT Burger, Faherty, Sen, Schiavoni’s Market, Onda Beauty, Flying Point Surf Boutique, Black Swan Antiques, Grindstone Coffee & Donuts, Ethel + Row, Provisions, Comerford Collection, Sag Harbor Nails, Happy Feet and Scarlett Rose Aveda Salon.

Manhattan Skyline also recently completed a long-term lease extension at 111 Main Street with Goldberg’s Famous Bagels, a popular staple in Long Island and the Hamptons, with multiple locations.

“We are looking forward to our expansion within the Hamptons come April,” said Patty Baer, Owner of Obligato. “Sag Harbor’s Village is the perfect fit for us, and we can’t wait to open.”

Obligato in Sag Harbor will occupy 485 square feet of ground-floor space with 12 feet of frontage on Washington Street off of Main Street. Roth handled the deal for Manhattan Skyline. There was no broker on the tenant side.
