Business for the Arts of Broward Appoints John O’ Grady and Kevin Shacter to Board

Business for the Arts of Broward (BFA) has announced that John O’ Grady and Kevin Shacter have joined the board of directors.

John O’ Grady is co-founder of and executive producer for Bob Industries, an award-winning film production company based in Santa Monica, California which specializes in commercials, films and music videos. O’Grady is a previous Grammy® Award nominee and has been the recipient of numerous awards, including Cannes Lions, MTV, One Show Pencils and AICP. One of his Super Bowl commercials landed as USA TODAY’s #1 spot. O’Grady has been credited as associate producer for films including Nightmare Alley, The Eyes of Tammy Faye, Shape Of Water, JoJo Rabbit, Ready or Not, Wild, Ruby Sparks, Gifted, Tide, Can You Ever Forgive Me?, Being Dennis, Black Nativity, Broken, Downhill and more. Bob Industries also currently works with several acclaimed film and television industry directors.

Kevin Shacter is Senior Fiduciary Officer at The Northern Trust Company on a Wealth Management Team located in Fort Lauderdale. Shacter holds a B.A. degree from Brandeis University and earned his J.D. from Emory School of Law and LLM in taxation from the University of Florida Graduate Tax Program. He is a member of Jewish Federation of Broward County and a board member of Boystown Jerusalem.
