The India Institute at Johns Hopkins will be renamed to honor a recent $10 million gift from two noted businessmen and philanthropists, Raj Gupta and Steven Klinsky.
The Gupta-Klinsky India Institute will bring together Hopkins faculty, staff, students, and alumni to partner with government, academia, the private sector, and NGOs across India.
Hopkins has trained health care professionals and partnered with the Indian government for nearly a century, the university’s president Ron Daniels said in a statement.
