Paauwe to implement sustainability initiatives for NLEOMF as new Chief Development Officer
The National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund (NLEOMF) is pleased to announce the addition of Stephanie Paauwe to the organization as Chief Development Officer.
Paauwe brings over 20 years of fundraising experience to the organization and is a Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE), holding a Master’s in Business Administration from Walsh College. She has worked in a variety of nonprofit settings including human services, advocacy, and healthcare focusing on bringing effective and innovative solutions to meet organizational needs and maximizing fundraising outcomes.

Paauwe was most recently the Vice President of Development in charge of affiliate fundraising at Volunteers of America. In her capacity as the Vice President of Development, she served as a senior member of the leadership team, coordinating the development of affiliate fundraising strategies and goals, in addition to oversight of national fundraising initiatives for Volunteers of America.
By bringing an experienced fundraising background that has produced measurable results, her distinguished career highlights the effort of the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund’s mission into perpetuity. Paauwe will be tasked with putting together necessary funding initiatives, continuing the organization’s purpose in honoring the fallen, telling the story of American law enforcement, and making it safer for those who serve.
Her high-impact leadership has helped create growth among the individuals she has worked with previously, helping to elevate underperforming organizations and subsequently, increasing fundraising revenue, via her initiatives. Relationship and partner development has also been crucial in her past work, focusing on cultivation and stewardship and increasing partner engagement, which she looks to implement with NLEOMF.
