Capital News Service — With Maryland voters poised to decide in November on whether recreational cannabis will be legal in the state, Capital News Service, in a two-part series, takes a “farm-to-table” look at the state’s already legal medical cannabis industry. We look at two companies:
SunMed Growers in Warwick is one of 37 growers and processors in the state that supply a finished product to Maryland cannabis dispensaries.
Goldleaf is a medical cannabis dispensary in Annapolis. Its entryway looks like the cross between a jewelry store and a upscale hotel lobby. “Budtenders” treat patients for a variety of symptoms, including insomnia, PTSD, anxiety, eating disorder and pain relief.
