The Peabody Companies’ Helping Hands Program Raises $6,850 for CCF Moldova

GoFundMe campaign will assist refugees fleeing war-torn Ukraine

Team members of the Peabody Companies, a group of award-winning property management and real estate firms, have raised $6,850 via a GoFundMe campaign for CCF Moldova, a child protection organization assisting Ukraine’s refugees with desperately needed meals, shelter, and social/psychological assistance.

The original fundraising goal of the Peabody Helping Hands team was $4,000 and increased to $6,500 as donations flooded in. Currently, the GoFundMe campaign has raised $6,850, surpassing its second goal benchmark.

“To say we are grateful to the nearly 100 people who have so far contributed to this fundraising cause is an understatement,” said Melissa Fish-Crane, principal and COO of the Peabody Companies. “The entire Peabody Companies community grieves for those Ukrainian citizens who have lost their lives and homes and pray for the children and families fleeing their war-torn country across the border, into Moldova.”

Recently, more than 230,000 people have crossed the border from Ukraine, with 120,000 staying in Moldova – 96,000 of them are Ukrainian citizens.
