GREENWOOD VILLAGE, Colo.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Atwell is pleased to welcome Casey Jones to its team as a Senior Project Manager in the Oil & Gas group. Based in Atwell’s Greenwood Village, Colorado office, Casey will be responsible for managing GIS/Mapping projects, developing best-practices and client-specific GIS solutions, monitoring project coordination and execution, and promoting and expanding Atwell’s Oil & Gas market.
Casey Jones brings a wealth of industry knowledge and more than 24 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry. He has been a Blue Sky Certified Consultant for 11 years and has trained students all over North America. He has helped design, engineer, and construct over 3,000 miles of midstream assets in the Western and Rocky Mountain regions, managed survey teams on fast past gathering system projects, and led GIS teams on cross-country FERC pipeline projects. His areas of expertise include natural gas gathering systems, metering and interconnects, and dehydration, as well spatial databases, geomatics, and system integration. As a member of the Pipeline Open Data Standard Association (PODS), he has served on the education committee and chaired the new construction workgroup. He is also involved in other organizations such as Petroleum Users Group (PUG), Association of Petroleum Surveying and Geomatics (APSG), Geospatial Information and Technology Association (GITA), and Urban and Regional Information Systems Association (URISA).
