Annual award is presented by Executive Women of the Palm Beaches Foundation, Inc.
The Executive Women of the Palm Beaches Foundation, Inc. recognized Illustrated Properties General Manager Virginia Spencer as a 2022 Women in Leadership Honoree during its 38th annual Women in Leadership Awards Celebration. Spencer was among four others who received this prestigious award on April 21.
The award honors women in Palm Beach County with outstanding credentials and accomplishments that display excellence in their career or profession, generosity of spirit and a commitment to integrity and diversity. The Executive Women of the Palm Beaches Foundation was founded in 1982 by senior professional and executive women in Palm Beach County to support and advance women in business and community leadership.
“It is a great honor to be recognized as a Women in Leadership honoree by an organization that has given me countless opportunities and friendships,” Spencer said. “My goal as a continued member of Executive Women of the Palm Beaches Foundation is to motivate and mentor future successful women in business.”
Spencer is a tremendous advocate in her community and has played a major part in the success of Illustrated during her tenure.
She has about 25 years of experience as Illustrated’s general manager, overseeing the activities of the company’s 650 agents across 20 offices. Spencer works closely with agents on transactional issues and assists the company with new office licensing and Realtor applications. In 2006, she organized and managed the company’s commercial division.
Additionally, Illustrated created the “Virginia Spencer Charity Award,” given annually to an agent who positively impacts his or her community. Spencer helped organize a group of agents to start Illustrated Properties Charities and was instrumental in forming the Community Partnerships Program.
