Upscale women’s boutique will bring a collection of designer shoes, clothing and accessories to the Boulevard
North American Properties (NAP) today announced upscale women’s boutique Monkee’s will open a new location at Avalon, the $1 billion mixed-use community in Alpharetta. Monkee’s will officially open along the Boulevard on March 26.
Monkee’s at Avalon is located near Anthropologie and marks the 28th location for the brand. Known for its personalized customer service and cutting-edge designer fashion, Monkee’s will bring an exceptional collection of ladies shoes, clothing and accessories to the Boulevard. Ally Caldwell, the franchise owner of Monkee’s at Avalon, believes in uncompromising quality and is dedicated to making sure every shopper leaves feeling confident and inspired.
“I have always admired the incredible experience and energy Avalon brings to the community,” said Caldwell. “I’m confident the designer merchandise assortment is a great fit for Avalon’s shoppers and can’t wait to introduce the Monkee’s experience to the Alpharetta community just in time for a spring wardrobe refresh.”
In celebration of their grand opening weekend, Monkee’s at Avalon will offer shoppers a complimentary gift with purchase and an in-store sip and shop experience. The week leading up to the opening, Monkee’s will also host an Instagram giveaway for users following @monkeesofalpharetta.
Also opening soon along the Boulevard is The Market at Avalon, a six-week, pop-up experience featuring seven local, women-owned businesses. Opening Mar. 19, NAP has thoughtfully curated the market with springtime celebrations in mind, such as weddings, baby showers and graduations. The Market at Avalon will be open through Mother’s Day (May 9th).
As one of the top retail destinations in the South, NAP’s leasing team continues to attract new concepts to the mixed-use development, and has opened eight retailers in the past year, including national brands TempurPedic, Onward Reserve, Peloton and High Country Outfitters.
“From pop-ups to permanent retailers, Avalon has continued to see tremendous leasing momentum throughout the pandemic,” said Adam Schwegman, partner and senior vice president of leasing at NAP. “Monkee’s is a natural fit with the existing mix of retailers along the Boulevard, and we’re looking forward to welcoming another best-in-class brand to Avalon.”
