Artists from across the country who are creating work that reflects the diversity of contemporary craft (generally a three-dimensional form of art) are encouraged to apply to the American Craft Council’s (ACC) 2023 Baltimore American Craft Made Marketplace. Formerly American Craft Shows, American Craft Made is a series of marketplace events produced by ACC, a national nonprofit dedicated to supporting craft and its artists. The American Craft Made Marketplace will be at the Baltimore Convention Center March 3-5, 2023.
Artists can apply online before July 15 for the 2023 Baltimore marketplace where they can share their stories and sell their work to ACC’s focused audience of craft enthusiasts.
The cost to apply to the Baltimore marketplace is $45. For details on artist applications and booth information and to apply online, visit go.craftcouncil.org/ArtistApps2022-23
“After many challenging months, we are seeing excitement from artists and supporters for the return of in-person events that provide the unique opportunity for artists and the community to connect on a more intimate level,” says Keona Tranby, marketing director of ACC. “As an organization, we are committed to keeping craft artists and the community connected, inspired, and thriving, which is exactly what we intend to do at the upcoming events.”
About the American Craft Council
The American Craft Council (ACC) is a national nonprofit working to keep the craft community connected, inspired, and thriving. Founder Aileen Osborn Webb recognized the significant impact craft has on individuals and communities and established the nonprofit to preserve, cultivate, and celebrate this communal heritage. Eighty years later, the organization’s efforts span the nation. ACC shares stories and amplifies voices through American Craft magazine and other online content, creates marketplace events that support artists and connect people to craft, and celebrates craft’s legacy through longstanding awards and a unique research library. A range of other programs create space for dialogue and action—because ACC believes craft can bring us together as people. Learn more at craftcouncil.org.
