Mufson Howe Hunter, an investment banking firm, based in center city Philadelphia, announced that Michael J. Gorman has joined the firm as a Director. Mr. Gorman was previously a Director at Stout, a financial services firm and investment bank, where he was a principal in their special situations group, leading client mandates in sell side M&A and capital placements. Prior to Stout, Mike was a Director at SSG Capital Advisors for over 14 years, a special situations investment bank where he led over 50 transactions representing in excess of $1 billion in aggregate deal value. Over his career in investment banking, Mike has developed a diverse transactional background, representing companies across numerous industry sectors.
At Mufson Howe Hunter, Mike will leverage his extensive transaction experience working with founders and owners of middle market companies in the industrial services, distribution, and diversified manufacturing sectors. “We look forward to having Mike Gorman work with our traditional client activities as well as developing our practice with special situation engagements” states Michael Mufson, a founder and Managing Director.
Mike received his B.S. from the United States Military Academy, West Point, NY and an MBA from Drexel University, Philadelphia PA.
