James Phelan Robinson of Goodell DeVries has been named Chair of the Bar Association of Baltimore City’s Young Lawyers Division (YLD). James will serve in that role for a one-year term and will lead the YLD’s efforts to provide public service, networking, and educational opportunities to the bar association’s young lawyers.
James is an associate with Goodell DeVries and a member of the firm’s Medical Malpractice Practice and Appellate Practice Groups. He defends health care providers and health care institutions, including nursing homes and hospitals, as well as insurance companies in all phases of medical malpractice claims, from commencement to completion. In addition, James has experience briefing and arguing appeals before the Court of Special Appeals and the Court of Appeals of Maryland. He has been named a Rising Star by Maryland Super Lawyers.
James is a graduate of the University of Baltimore School of Law (J.D., cum laude, 2013) and George Washington University (B.A., magna cum laude, 2009).
