Jaros, Baum & Bolles (JB&B) is pleased to welcome Dan Davis, Zach Hatfield and Joseph Stewart to the firm as Associates at its Philadelphia office. These new additions to the team bring a broad range of experience to JB&B, with nearly 50 years of collective industry expertise among them and proven histories of leveraging new technologies with innovative engineering methods to identify best-in-class solutions for today’s evolving needs.
Davis brings a unique perspective to JB&B, with his career focused on process engineering for life sciences. He also brings a particularly well-rounded skill set to the firm, with design firm experience as an engineer as well as a client perspective as an owner’s representative. This has provided him with a firsthand experience of both Good Manufacturing Practices and Good Laboratory Practices and how design choices can impact a facility well into the future. Davis’s system ownerships have included vaccine manufacturing facilities and laboratory layouts that encompassed areas of upstream processes, downstream processes, analytical sciences, quality assurance, and molecular biology.
Hatfieldbrings 13 years of industry experience across the healthcare, corporate commercial, life science and mission-critical market sectors. Hatfield excels at identifying client-specific solutions that acknowledge each project’s unique requirements, and his singular commitment to his profession has paid off in the consistent delivery of high-quality designs. Hatfield looks forward to leveraging his experience in the Philadelphia market toward the identification and development of the talent that will help the firm expand its presence and reach, particularly in the area’s burgeoning life science sector.
Stewart brings to JB&B over 25 years of technical experience in the commercial, institutional, data center, retail, educational and healthcare sectors. Throughout his career, he has developed and demonstrated tremendous proficiency in all phases of technical design projects beginning with initial concept and extending through construction administration. Stewart specializes in designing emergency power distribution systems for a variety of applications, and among his more notable projects are the Vanguard Data Center, the Philadelphia Eagles NovaCare Complex, and the World Trade Center remediation effort following Hurricane Sandy. He is also highly skilled in performing building evaluations and producing meticulous diligence reports.
“The JB&B team is tremendously fortunate to welcome Dan, Zach and Joseph to our Philadelphia team,” said Managing Partner Walter Mehl, Jr. “As we continue to expand our practice in Philly, they bring highly specialized skillsets rooted in the engineering excellence that JB&B prides itself on. Each of them has a history of outstanding projects throughout their careers, and our team looks forward to their continued growth and their ongoing leadership within our firm and in our industry.”
