— Announces Towson Clinic and Merges with Two Baltimore County Physical Therapy Clinics —
— Adds New Services to Offerings —
Peake Physical Therapy, a five-clinic physical therapy practice that takes an evidence-informed approach to physical therapy tailored to each individual patient and their respective goals, announced today its expansion in the Baltimore region. The group will continue to operate in the Baltimore metro and West Towson areas and will provide additional services as part of its recent acquisitions.
With a move from its preexisting term at Training House, Peake Physical Therapy is settled into a new Towson clinic located at 515 E. Joppa Road. The West Towson location with a newly renovated 2,300 square foot facility will focus on general orthopedics along with balance, vestibular issues, concussion, dizziness, chronic pain, and pelvic floor health. Peake PT Towson’s office will also feature high level concussion and vestibular assessment.
“We’re thrilled to add a Towson location to our practice, providing more convenience and access to our experienced team, and high-quality physical therapy and rehabilitation services,” shared Frank Rosenthal, partner, Peake Physical Therapy. “We can now share our mission with more patients in the region and expand our ability to bridge their gap between rehab and getting back to life.”
In addition to the new Towson clinic, Peake Physical Therapy merged with Hunt Valley Physical Therapy and Jacksonville Physical Therapy, a 30-year practice founded by John Shober and Cathy Latoof-Shober. The clinics have been staples in the community and their tradition of delivering outstanding therapy services in a fun, family atmosphere will continue under the Peake Physical Therapy brand. Hunt Valley Physical Therapy specializes in general orthopedics with specialty services including neurological diseases and golf related services. Jacksonville Physical Therapy provides training in balance and vestibular rehabilitation, orthopedics, hand therapy, geriatric exercise, spinal care, and post-surgical rehabilitation.
“This merger allows our clinics to offer the same high-quality care to more patients while continuing the legacy started by John and Cathy. Hunt Valley and Jacksonville’s team of expert physical therapists will be supported by additional staff, enabling them to provide the same patient-focused care that our clients expect and deserve,” said Dave Bender, partner, Peake Physical Therapy.
“Peake Physical Therapy was established to address one of the largest problems within sports and orthopedic medicine — the gap between rehab and getting back to your life,” shares Rosenthal. “Typically, when rehab ends, clients are left in a void- unsure of how exactly to progress back to their life whether on the field or with their daily activities. At all Peake locations, we provide excellent care using a collaborative approach between physical therapists and other disciplines to guide our clients through the process and bridge that gap.”
Aligning with Peake Physical Therapy’s mission to provide evidence-based care, the team offers advanced assessment and clinical reasoning at the beginning of the professional client relationship. Focusing on overall movement retraining and skilled manipulation, Peake’s services revolve around the need to provide integrated physical, emotional, and psychological rehab to better treat the whole person. Services include, but are not limited to orthopedic physical therapy, sport rehab, women’s health/pelvic health, shockwave therapy, concussion management, athlete recovery services, sport-specific video and gait analysis, golf services, dry needling and cupping, neurological disease treatment, geriatric exercise, spinal care, vertigo treatment, post-surgery/injury rehabilitation, ASTYM treatments, taping, blood flow restriction, and telehealth PT.
