Festive Celebration runs Aug. 2-7 with Special Drinks and Dishes
WHAT: This August, Marlow’s Tavern Midtown is celebrating 15 years of dishing up delicious upscale tavern fare. And just in time for the anniversary celebration, the Midtown tavern unveils a recently renovated bar area allowing additional light into the relaxed neighborhood gathering spot.
To mark the occasion, the eatery is celebrating with a festive Tiki Party from Aug. 2-7. In addition to the regular menu, Marlow’s is offering a selection of Tiki party-inspired food and drink specials such as:
- Hawaiian Flatbread – chipotle BBQ, Black Forrest ham, pineapple salsa, jalapeño Jack cheese, and crispy onion strips ($14)
- Coconut Shrimp – with sweet chili and jicama slaw ($14)
- Huli Huli Wings – with sweet and savory teriyaki glaze ($14)
- Kālua Pork Sliders – pineapple BBQ and citrus slaw ($14)
- Mahi Mahi Tacos – firecracker sauce, citrus slaw, and mango salsa on warm corn tortillas ($14)
Among the drink specials are:
- Muana Kea – Bacardi rum, RumChata, Giffard Banana, pineapple juice, coconut cream, and house-made strawberry, hibiscus, and vanilla syrup ($12)
- Pau Hauna Punch – Bacardi rum, Captain Morgan spiced rum, Giffard Crème de Mure, Giffard Banana, pineapple juice, and coconut cream ($12.50)
- Kauai Sunset – Bacardi rum, Captain Morgan spiced rum, lime juice, house-made star fruit-ginger syrup, house-made hazelnut-orgeat syrup, Grand Marnier, and a Myers’s Rum floater ($13)
In addition to the anniversary specials, guests have the chance to win a $50 gift card on Friday, Aug. 5 and Saturday, Aug. 6 when they come to the restaurant wearing their best Hawaiian shirt.
