Lash & Goldberg LLP is pleased to announce that attorney Annette Urena Tucker has joined the firm as a Partner in its Fort Lauderdale office. Ms. Tucker brings 20 years of complex litigation experience and will focus her practice on healthcare and complex commercial litigation.

Ms. Tucker brings a broad range of litigation and trial experience in federal and state courts, as well as in arbitration. She has defended and prosecuted complex business cases through every stage of the litigation process involving real estate disputes, contract disputes, legal and accounting malpractice, securities, director and officer liability, insurance disputes, bankruptcy matters, and business torts. She has also represented clients in numerous appeals before Florida State District Courts of Appeal and the U.S. Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals, among other appellate courts. In addition, she has defended clients in high-profile securities class actions, including managing a large investigative team reviewing an alleged nationwide Ponzi scheme.

In the community, Ms. Tucker serves on the Board of Directors of Kidz Count, a non-profit organization that provides youths with financial and entrepreneurship education to prepare them for a lifetime of smart money decisions.
Ms. Tucker received her Bachelor of Arts in Diplomacy and Foreign Affairs with honors from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. She earned her Juris Doctor with honors from the University of Florida Fredric G. Levin College of Law, where she received numerous academic awards, and was a member of the Trial Team, the Student Bar Association, and the Hispanic Student Association.
She is admitted to practice in Florida and South Carolina.
