Nostalgic cereal bar will offer both breakfast and dessert options at the premier mixed-use destination
Atlantic Station’s culinary lineup is getting sweeter with the addition of Day & Night Cereal Bar. The Los Angeles-based company will open its first location in Georgia at the mixed-use development. Franchise owner Rhonda Jones along with her children, Ty’Ron and Tyra, plan to open the breakfast and dessert eatery this October.
“What better way to celebrate the most important meal of the day than with Day & Night Cereal Bar,” said Phil Purdom, director of Southeast retail real estate for Hines. “The opening of this delicious new-to-market concept expands both the breakfast and dessert offerings for our guests at Atlantic Station. Day & Night will be a nostalgic experience for all ages to enjoy some of America’s favorite breakfast foods, no matter what time their craving hits.”
Day & Night Cereal Bar’s menu will feature customizable, build-your-own cereal bowls and a variety of milkshakes. Guests can relish in old and new flavor combinations reminiscent of their childhoods. For example, Mucha Lucha, a concoction of Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal, whipped cream and churro cereal topped with a sprinkled cinnamon roll; or Unicorn Breath, a mix of fruity Lucky Charms and Fruity Pebbles cereal, topped with whipped cream and a strawberry drizzle. Each bowl has the option to include whole, skim, almond or oat milk. The eatery’s menu also goes beyond just bowls of cereal, with options such as a bacon flight with the choice of three different flavors, french toast coated in cereal, cereal-infused milkshakes and classic coffee drinks. Day & Night Cereal Bar will be open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
“Everyone has a special memory from their childhood attached to their favorite cereal, and we wanted to bring those memories to life,” said Jones, franchise owner of Day & Night Cereal Bar. “Atlantic Station is a lively spot in the heart of Atlanta that brings families together from near and far. We can’t wait to see parents show their children the cereal they grew up enjoying or for our guests to simply try something new when we open our doors this fall.”
Day & Night Cereal Bar is the latest restaurant to join the diverse tenant mix at Atlantic Station. With additional tenants to be announced, Atlantic Station plans to celebrate the openings of Angry Crab Shack, Atlanta Breakfast Club and Rosé Bistro and Champagne Bar later this year.
