Dentons, the world’s largest law firm, announces today that Paul Charlton has been named managing partner of the Firm’s Phoenix office. He succeeds Mark Daliere, who recently retired after 25 years at the Firm.
As a member of Dentons’ White Collar and Government Investigations practice, Charlton represents Fortune 500 companies and corporate executives in high-profile complex litigation, internal investigations and white-collar criminal defense matters. He is a former career prosecutor, who served both as an Assistant US Attorney and the US Attorney for Arizona, and is a seasoned trial lawyer with deep roots in the legal community. Charlton also works in Native American Law and successfully advocated for Native American tribes and tribal leaders on nationally reported matters.
“We welcome Paul as office managing partner and are grateful for Mark’s years of leadership,” said Sonia Martin, Dentons US CEO. “Paul is a natural leader and is committed to the Phoenix legal community. We are confident that he will continue to build on Mark’s success and carry forward exceptional client service.”
“It’s a privilege to be at Dentons and to work alongside such talented lawyers here in Phoenix, nationwide and worldwide,” said Charlton. “I look forward to Dentons’ ongoing growth and to being a part of our team’s continued good work for our clients at home and abroad.”
