Hyatt Commercial is pleased to announce the portfolio sale of a ±9,790 office building at 204-206 Main Street and a total of .53 acres of land at 211 Main Street— a three-property portfolio at landmark locations in Laurel’s bustling retail hub.
The properties were listed on the market as the seller’s business was downsizing and they were looking to sell the real estate their business occupied. After the seller was referred to Hyatt Commercial by a previous client, they engaged with Cecil Cummins and Eric Pinkett to get a broker’s opinion of value for the three parcels.
Cummins and Pinkett ultimately listed the parcels for sale. After implementing a heavy marketing campaign that targeted local and regional business owners and regional investors, Hyatt Commercial was able to garner several offers from interested parties.
One of these parties was a local business interested in purchasing all three properties under one sale. After a brief negotiation, a deal was struck. In less than 5 months from the date of listing, the portfolio of three properties was sold for $2,590,000. Cecil Cummins and Erick Pinkett of Hyatt Commercial represented both sides of the transaction.
