The Lyric Baltimore has launched a brand-new website, featuring a new logo and brand identity. The Lyric, located in Baltimore’s Mt. Vernon neighborhood, has hosted comedy, concerts, and other live entertainment since 1894. The Lyric and Lyric Education – its department dedicated to local arts programming and opportunities for middle and high school-aged students— both have a new look, featuring logos and artwork intended to inject new life into the historic performing arts center.
“This new website is the final piece of our updated branding, all of which comes together to convey the energy and creativity involved in what we do here at the Lyric Baltimore,” said Jonathan Schwartz, Executive Director of the Lyric Foundation. “This new site combines all facets of the Lyric: the theater, our education department and the foundation into a single, easily accessible site.”
In conjunction with a new website and branding, the Lyric Baltimore launched a quarterly email newsletter in early 2022, The LYRICist. The e-newsletter gives an inside look at behind-the-scenes happenings at the Lyric, including interviews with senior staff, photos from the archives and historic performances at the venue in the last 100 years, educational programming, upcoming shows, video footage and more.
