Jim Moran Institute Announces Expert Speaker Series For Local Business Owners

The Jim Moran Institute for Global Entrepreneurship, part of the Florida State University College of Business, is returning its popular Expert Speaker Series – Workshop Edition. The series provides direct access to business and industry experts who will share solutions for today’s business challenges and innovative insights for the future in a dynamic, interactive, and comprehensive way.

Held on October 12, 2022 at The Westin in Fort Lauderdale, this workshop will cover the topic How to Grow Your Business – Franchise It! and will feature Dr. John P. Hayes, CFE, a worldwide leading expert on franchising. Dr. Hayes has been a franchisee of several concepts, a franchisor of a major American franchise company, and a consultant for franchisors in the U.S. and abroad. He is the Titus Chair for Franchise Leadership and director of the Titus Center for Franchising at Palm Beach Atlantic University and the founder and owner of Hayes Marketing Services. In 2021, Dr. Hayes was listed among the “most influential people in franchising” by 1851 and SeoSamba.

Additional panelists include Andy Cagnetta, President of Transworld Business Advisors; Nick Boariu, CFE, Co-founder of Clothes Bin Franchise; Sherri Seiber, President of FranFund; and Tipton Shonkwiler, CFE, President of Accurate Franchising.

Participants will discover if franchising is the right solution for their business, the steps to take to turn their business into a franchise, and the best practices and pitfalls of franchising.
