Orientation is offered on Wednesday, September 28
The Broward Center is ready to usher in its exciting new season but it can’t do it without its dynamic corps of volunteer ushers that welcome patrons and guide them to their seats. An orientation for new ushers will be offered at the Broward Center on Wednesday, September 28 at 6 p.m.
From high school students who are eligible for community service hours to retired seniors to family members that volunteer together, volunteer ushers will expand their horizons during this upcoming season filled with Broadway blockbusters, regional companies and the biggest names in music, comedy and dance.
Volunteers commit to a regular weekly evening or matinee shift for a full season at the Broward Center or its affiliate venues the Parker Playhouse, the Rose & Alfred Miniaci Performing Arts Center at Nova Southeastern University and the Aventura Arts & Cultural Center.
For the volunteer application, contact the volunteer office at 954.468.2684 or e-mail volunteer@browardcenter.org.
