RocaPoint Partners today announces three additions to Halcyon’s impressive tenant lineup. Forsyth County’s mixed-use village welcomes X-Golf, an advanced golf simulator and sports bar; Rhen’s Nest, a children’s toy shop; and Eco Denizen, a unique gift shop specializing in home goods, all set to open by the end of this year.
“We are delighted to welcome these concepts, which are all new to Forsyth County, as we continue to provide a social destination for the area” said Phil Mays, principal at RocaPoint Partners. “With this wave of leases, the quality of Halcyon’s tenant lineup is further enhanced, and we will continue to bring experiential, new offerings for our residents and guests to enjoy.”
Founded in 2016, X-Golf, an advanced golf simulator and sports bar, will open its first Georgia location at Halcyon in a 6,692-square-foot space. X-Golf is an entirely different experience that lets golfers at all skill levels play on the world’s best courses and compete in a variety of game formats in a high-energy indoor entertainment facility. With 6,000 calculations per second, real time data improves golfers’ games through measurements of each swing. PGA pros will be present to help guide golfers and offer tips to help improve their skills. X-Golf will also feature a full bar with beers, cocktails and shareable appetizers.
“We chose to bring Georgia’s first X-Golf to Halcyon because of its lively atmosphere and close proximity to the local community, as well as its easy access to major thoroughfares,” said John Vautour, X-Golf franchise owner. “I’ve been an avid golfer for countless years, and I instantly fell in love with the concept of X-Golf and the accuracy of the simulators. Since Halcyon is already a community gathering spot, it will make the perfect location for X-Golf.”
Rhen’s Nest, a children’s toy store featuring a thoughtfully curated selection of toys, books and games, is the latest addition at Halcyon in a 1,384-square-foot space. Rhen’s Nest offers a unique selection of toys, books and games for a variety of ages categorized by educational toys, artsy toys, whimsical toys, books, board games and stuffed animals. The storefront will be Rhen’s Nest’s second location in the Metro Atlanta area. It recently opened its doors at the mixed-use village and is welcoming shoppers Monday through Thursday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Friday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Saturday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.; and Sunday, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
“We are so excited to be the first children’s toy store at Halcyon,” said owner and founder, Christina Bonaccorse. “It was important to us that our second Atlanta area location embodies all that’s creative, fun, and family focused energy we align ourselves with. We look forward to becoming an integral part of this fantastic and engaged community.”
Focusing on handmade products made by a variety of artists and craftsmen, Eco Denizen is set to open its second Atlanta storefront at Halcyon in a 1,400-square-foot space at the end of October. Eco Denizen offers a variety of products from a collection of brands, including Capri Blue and Nest candles, Corkcicle drinkware, and as well as a selection of baby gifts, books, home decor, accessories and artwork created by local artisans. Eco Denizen opened its first location in Midtown Atlanta in 2012.
“Expanding Eco Denizen to north Atlanta is a dream come true and opening a storefront at a community-driven destination like Halcyon is exactly what we wanted,” said Founder and Owner Xiore Cox. “We are ecstatic to bring our customers their favorite products closer to home, and we are looking forward to joining the vibrant Halcyon community.”
This announcement comes on the heels of recent exciting additions at the property, including the opening of the Tutu School and BBQ Guys at Halcyon, as well as the addition of restaurants such as Il Bottegone, Playa Bowls and upcoming Eclipse Di Luna.
