The smell of carefully crafted coffee, frappes, avocado toast and freshly baked pastries is now available at Fuel Coffee at Halcyon. The family-owned shop expanded to the mixed-use village and serves a variety of delightful brews and food in its car-themed atmosphere.
“Halcyon is the perfect fit for our new shop as we continue to grow the Fuel family. Our Halcyon location will offer breakfast, lunch and dinner in a comfortable and inviting atmosphere for people of all ages,” said David Thompson, co-owner of Fuel Coffee. “We have been committed to the Alpharetta area since opening our first Fuel location near downtown in 2020. We love this community and are looking forward to being the new gathering place at Halcyon.”
Owners David and Angela Thompson, married for nearly 20 years, have poured their hearts into the business. This dedication shows in their palate-pleasing menu of diverse coffee selections such as cappuccinos, lattes, cold brew, teas, hot chocolate and other specialty drinks. Fuel also serves smoothies, pastries, a wide selection of avocado toasts, sandwiches and wraps. The couple plans to expand the menu for their new location at Halcyon, to include alcohol and elevated bar food.
“We are excited for our Halcyon community to get a taste of Fuel’s brews, made from beans from all around the world, including South America, Colombia and Africa,” said Phil Mays, principal at RocaPoint Partners. “The shop will remain open for all meals of the day, keeping people at Halcyon fueled while they are here – whether that’s to shop, dine, work, explore or hop on the Big Creek Greenway for a walk.”
Fuel offers its bold, proprietary blend coffee and delicious bites at a 25% discount for veterans and offers free drinks for any public service employee stopping by in uniform. Owners are also planning trivia nights at their new Halcyon location.
The coffee cafe joins a list of newly opened tenants at the Alpharetta mixed-use village. This includes boutique-style dance studio for kids, Tutu School; European-style cafe, Il Bottegone; toy store, Rhen’s Nest; and Eclipse Di Luna.
