CORAL GABLES, Fla.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Acorn Health, a national provider of applied behavior analysis for children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder, announces the acquisition of seven centers—six in Florida and one in Virginia—expanding its service area to better serve families.
“Our team is excited to offer Acorn Health’s expertise in ABA therapy within these markets,” says Vicki Kroviak, chief executive officer and board chair. “Even as we grow as an organization, it remains vital to maintain our focus on delivering best-in-class clinical services.”
“At Acorn, we aim to provide consistent, excellent care to children with autism, as well as support to their families and caregivers,” Kroviak adds.
The new Florida centers are in downtown Orlando, Longwood, Riverview, East Orange, Championsgate, and Kissimmee. Stafford is home to the new center in Virginia.
The addition of these seven centers takes Acorn to 14 in Florida and 13 throughout Virginia. These seven practice sites were acquired from Breakthrough Behavior Florida with the assistance of Jon Krieger, managing director of Calex Partners, which served as the exclusive financial advisor to Acorn Health.
