Colliers is pleased to announce the sale of ±156 acres located on W League City Parkway in League City, Texas. Hillwood Communities purchased the land with plans to combine the property with the adjoining new 540-acre master-planned community. The seller, a local investor, was represented by Chris Hutcheson, James Kadlick, and Harrison Kane of Colliers.
“Due to the size and proximity of this tract, we had significant interest from many qualified homebuilders and developers, said Chris Hutcheson of Colliers. “However, the decision was easy to go with Hillwood due to their outstanding reputation and existing investment next door. They worked tirelessly with League City and the seller to obtain the entitlements necessary to allow them to close the transaction.”
While originally slated to build 1,250 homes on 540 acres, the community will expand the number of homes with the additional ±156 acre land purchase. Hillwood Communities’ growing Houston presence also includes master-planned Valencia and Pamona communities. Hillwood Communities will have over 4,500 lots across the three communities when complete.
